Proud sponsors and attendees.

At FoSS, we’re proud to support individuals who shape the future of aquatics through passion, purpose and professionalism. Jo Wilson, Founder of Swim Works, Aqua Sensory and the Aqua Share Conference is one of those rare pioneers.

From starting her journey in baby swimming over two decades ago, to becoming a leading voice in child development, aquatic education, and sensory-led teaching- Jo has continued to break new ground in our industry. Through Aqua Sensory, Swim Works, and her latest projects like Bath Babies and Spa Bliss, Jo champions child-first practices and reimagines how we connect with water.

Her bold thinking, environmental awareness and commitment to empowering other professionals perfectly reflects our mission at FoSS: to support and elevate the swim community with guidance, connection, and confidence.

Jo created and hosted a new conference dedicated to parent and baby wellbeing and professional development in aquatics. Us and our insurance partners, BGi.uk were proud sponsors of this event and we also were incredibly grateful to attend.

Saturday:

We kicked of Saturday with Clare Stead, whose session on ‘Child Development in 1001 Days’ laid a strong foundation. Clare reminded us just how vital these early days are, not only for physical development but for emotional and neurological growth too. Following this, Barbara Noebel offered a compelling psychological perspective, adding layers of understanding around early childhood development and emotional safety in aquatic environments.

We then welcomed Marion Falzeder, whose presentation “I Feel You: Craniosacral Insight” was deeply moving. Her ability to explain the energetic and emotional sensitivity of babies was both calming and profound. Later in the pool, Marion demonstrated baby sensory swimming techniques, offering a hands-on look at how gentle, intuitive touch can support relaxation and trust in the water.

The day concluded with a vibrant Pool Share session, where all speakers and attendees gathered to exchange ideas, favourite techniques, and the practical magic that happens when experience and enthusiasm come together. It was such a joy to be part of a space where egos were left at the door and knowledge flowed freely.

Sunday:

Sunday began with Dr Danielle De Toia, who presented on balance and core development. Her session highlighted the deep connection between physical strength and emotional regulation in babies and toddlers, something that can be beautifully supported in the water.

Krista Peebo followed with a thoughtful discussion on Supporting Baby’s Needs, a session filled with gentle reminders that every baby communicates in their own way, and it’s our role to listen, adapt, and honour their pace.

Gabriella Baldini then took the stage with her beautiful talk on Respectful Aquatic Parenting. Her approach reframed the adult-child dynamic in the pool, encouraging us to become true partners in exploration and safety with the little ones we teach.

We then travelled to Rugby Swim Works, where Jo Wilson and Celina led an engaging session on sensory circuits for babies and toddlers. Watching them work with such care and creativity was inspiring, reminding us how powerful multisensory approaches can be for children’s learning and joy in the water.

The final session was once again led by Gabriella Baldini, this time in the pool. We were invited to practise the techniques we had learnt—using dolls to simulate real baby movements and positions in preparation for real-life teaching. It was both practical and playful, giving us the chance to embody what we’d learnt in a hands-on, collaborative way.

A celebration of sharing and community

What made this conference so special wasn’t just the incredible knowledge shared, it was the supportive, open atmosphere that filled every session. We met inspiring new friends and fellow professionals.

In a world that can often feel driven by competition, AquaShare reminded us of the power of coming together, to share and uplift. The weekend was a beautiful reminder that we’re all part of something greater, where every ripple of knowledge has the potential to make a real difference.

Our sponsorship reflects our passion for championing best practices in the swim industry & our belief in lifelong learning for aquatic professionals. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
