Meet our mascot

Reece Huckle

Supporting and celebrating the swim community is at the heart of what we do, from seasoned professionals to rising stars. That’s why we’re proud to introduce Reese Huckle, our official mascot and inspiring young swimmer.

Reese’s swim journey began at just 5 years old when her mum, Claire, enrolled her in lessons. From the first splash, it was clear that Reese had found her element, completing all her swim stages in just two and a half years. When her teacher at Making Waves Swim School saw she had outgrown the programme, she recommended Reese join a competitive swim club.

Reese became a member of RTW Monson, a historic club with over 100 years of aquatic excellence, and was quickly selected for their squad. By eight years old, she was already in competitions, achieving personal bests and earning consideration for the Kent County Championships.

When the pandemic hit, training came to a halt. But Reese and her family got creative. With backyard pool, a bungee cord, and a makeshift harness, she swam on the spot to keep up her training. That same determination carried through post-lockdown, with Reese returning to competition stronger than ever.

At 13, Reese raced in thirteen events at the Kent County Championships, making finals in six. She went on to compete at the South East Regionals and even qualified for the English Nationals in the 100m Butterfly.

Now, Reese continues to shine – qualifying for five finals at the 2025 South East Regionals and securing her place at the English Nationals 2025 in four events.

As our mascot, Reese represents what’s possible when talent meets opportunity and support. We’re proud to champion her journey and share her story with the wider FoSS community.

Stay tuned as we cheer her on every step of the way!
