Reese’s Season of Growth, Grit & Ambition
Young swimmer Reese continues to make waves both in and out of the pool, following a successful international training camp in Tenerife and a series of strong performances at major competitions.
Reese Shines at the Kent County Championships
Reese delivered an outstanding performance at the Kent County Championships, stepping up to compete in the 17+ category and achieving multiple Personal Bests along the way. Highlights included a Silver medal in the 200m Backstroke and a dramatic swim-off victory in the 50m Butterfly, where she set a huge new PB of 29.11 seconds. Balancing intense training with Year 11 studies, Reese continues to show exceptional dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship both in and out of the pool.

A huge congratulations to Reese, who has officially qualified as a Level 1 Swim Teacher! After months of hard work and volunteering with RTW Monson, she’s now taking on a Swim Teaching Assistant role while continuing her own competitive journey. From inspiring younger swimmers to shining at the South East Winter Regionals, Reese is proving to be a true role model — balancing studies, sport, and teaching with dedication and passion.

Thousands of children across the UK are learning to love the water thanks to a new approach to swimming lessons by Everyone Active in partnership with the Institute of Aquaphobia (IoA). Through specialist Aquaphobia CTA 1 training, swimming teachers are being equipped to recognise and respond to fear of water — helping young swimmers feel safe, confident, and happy as they learn key foundation skills.
